On Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11:15am, Governor Phil Murphy will hold a virtual bill signing event for the “Dominick Marino PFRS Enhanced Benefits for Surviving Spouse Act” (S487), which enhances PFRS accidental death benefit for surviving spouse who becomes eligible after effective date by providing for minimum of $50,000 annually.

Senate Bill 487 is named after Dominick Marino, past-president of the PFANJ who passed away suddenly on April 14, 2020 and who was the driving force behind this bill.
